It’s no shock to any of us that we aren’t perfect. Every day we try to do things right, but we know that we fail on a regular basis even when we try to hide it from others. But people see it, even when we like to think they don’t. Those failures (intentional and unintentional) are what the Bible calls sin. The Bible also tells us that sin separates us from God. And that matters to Him because He created each person and desires to have a relationship with each one (that means you). So He took action! God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
The fact of the matter is that 100% of people sin. And the other fact is that 100% of people will die.
In the Bible, God lays out the bad news that you are a sinner separated from Him by that sin, and then He gives the good news that says that He has made a provision for this so that you can be reconciled to Him. You can have the promise of being with Him in Heaven when your body dies and until then, you will have a life filled with the abundance of peace and joy that comes from knowing Him.
The way to God is through a relationship with His Son, Jesus.
